On Thursday I shaved off the wispy blond curls and found this dark headed little one underneath. I've watched blond baby curls fall to the ground with three boys now and each time it breaks my heart just a little bit. Isaac has been my baby the longest of any of them (by the time that Luke and Noah were his age there was another on their heels) and it was just a little bit harder this time to trade my baby in for a walking, talking toddler with a big boy cut. Couldn't he have waited just a little longer to grow up? As a courtesy for his baby-loving momma? Please?
