I gave birth to this little man seven weeks ago. Tonight my sister will give birth to his cousin. Oh, how I wish I was there with her. I wish that I would be able to get my hands on her little one while he is still new. I love labor, birth and the glorious result. To be a woman and a mother is a marvelous gift.

Fresh
I gave birth to this little man seven weeks ago. Tonight my sister will give birth to his cousin. Oh, how I wish I was there with her. I wish that I would be able to get my hands on her little one while he is still new. I love labor, birth and the glorious result. To be a woman and a mother is a marvelous gift.

I totally agree! My sister in law had my newest niece yesterday, and I just keep looking at my 10-day old William wondering how he got so big:)

Laurel-- I really do love childbirth, labor included.
I love it when they start to smile--It can make such a difference during the no-sleep weeks/months (years?) :). He's precious.
