Noah helps himself to whatever he wants in the fridge. I was happy to see that this is what he found in there. It's funny to watch this little one-- so self sufficient, so confident, and determined to do things his way. I am learning, more every day, about how to let him.

Abbie is the same way. Nate still asks before he gets a drink of water, but Abbie will help herself to whatever she deems acceptable! I try to remind myself of the humor in it instead of freaking out when she pulls chocolate cake out for breakfast.
:) My mother in law studied birth order, and she'd have something interesting to say about this. :) I appreciate your thoughts about independence and allowing Noah to do things for himself.
