We celebrated my mom's birthday yesterday with a Chinese feast. I wish I'd taken pictures of the food because the spread was beautiful. I made
these lettuce wraps with the ground beef from the happy cow that we all went in on together this fall. Boy, oh boy-- they were delicious. There was also a really yummy ginger pepper chicken, lo mein, and a salmon masterpiece. I'm getting hungry remembering it. We topped it off with a carrot cake made by Emily. The kids lined up on the stairs and we all sang "Happy Birthday" to the woman who makes it all work. Happy Birthday Momma!
