We made our way up to Bear Lake for the first time a few weeks ago. My mother's side of the family has an annual family reunion on some family property. We ventured up and were impressed with the scenery the entire drive up and once we got there as well. After lunch with the relations we headed to the beach with the boys. We had a perfect time playing in the sand and splashing in the water. Hyrum even enjoyed himself. After he initially tasted the sand he decided he didn't like it and gave up on shoving things in his mouth for a bit. He was a bit uncertain about walking at first, which had us all giggling as he figured it out. It's such an easy day trip for us that we're hoping to make it back sooner rather than later.
